A man and two teenagers were stabbed Tuesday night at a northeast Park Hill homeless shelter operating out of a Comfort Inn & Suites, according to the Denver Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 4685 N. Quebec St. at approximately 6:30 p.m. and found two teenagers and a man injured. The three victims were transported to a local hospital and are expected to survive their injuries, Denver police said Wednesday. The man was in critical condition when he was transported to the hospital.
Initial information shows there was a disturbance involving several people that escalated to the stabbings, according to police. The incident is under investigation, though police believe everyone involved is accounted for and it was an isolated incident.
No arrests have been made in the incident.
Denver City Council approved a $5.8 million lease with Quebec Hospitality, LLC in February to provide 138 rooms at the Comfort Inn as a shelter for families experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
